A body of work is a journey with a beginning, middle and end that cumulates to being experiential—memories shape ideas about our present and future.

Imagined Landscape - an exploration of the imagination and the sublime. It extends the perception of reality towards the dimension of spaces in nature, where time and space collide. It is built upon fragments of memories, being in a particular place and looking out to the Himalayas. The landscape conceals and camouflages approach; the work is to reinterpret the approach. Nevertheless, the lines remain as reminders of something vulnerable as they erode over time with constant changing of expressions and movement.

The work is created using the real and the possible. Real is the topographical data used to print the 3D model. The possible, using and controlling natural light as it streams through the window. The perspectives are an iterative process of creation of the possible.

God Geometrises - the distance of 2.5 mm between the face of the image and the gold base gives an illusion of depth and movement as you walk past the images. The photographic object (Orotone print) encapsulates memory, the elements of space, time, perspective, and light of the subject. The perspective combined with the angular planes creates the 3-dimensional space. While the contour lines encode the passing of time and evolution, the light is a discrete capture of the moment. These elements together give meaning to the object. It tells a living story.
