Bio - Lingam. K

A research and lens-based artist at the convergence of art and science, I blend alternative photographic processes and digital technologies to explore the interplay of the modern world and cultural heritage. My work focuses on unravelling the evolving narratives around us, capturing fragments of time through photography, and weaving them into a rich tapestry.

Fascinated by the complexity of cultures and heritage, my journey involves exploring, discovering, and connecting with cultural ambiguities. Photography serves as a tool to document, interpret, and tell expansive stories.

My practice integrates qualitative and quantitative research methods, fostering a symbiotic relationship between knowledge and process. Driven by curiosity and wonder, I navigate this interconnected realm to create meaningful art.

I am currently immersed in visualising the glacial melt in the Himalayas, shedding light on humanity's indelible impact on the landscape."
